The Foundation Center's Guide to Grantseeking on the Web (2001 Edition)
The Foundation Center, my current employer, is a philanthropy resource clearinghouse that helps nonprofit organizations find funding. This edition of The Foundation Center's Guide to Grantseeking on the Web was a team effort, drawing from the work of several contributing writers. My section is Chapter 1, "A Guided Tour of the Foundation Center's Web Site." While copyright restrictions prohibit me from reprinting any part of the published book itself, I have included one page of my manuscript.

Albinism in Popular Culture
This site, in which I provide extensive narrative, explores the mythology associated with the largely misunderstood genetic condition of albinism. I began it in 1997, and it has continued to evolve as new information becomes available. It was transferred to the National Organization for Albinism & Hypopigmentation (NOAH) in 2006. Since its inception, it has become one of the top 5 sites in search results for "albinism" on the Web.

Champions of the Green Kingdom
I made this site to offer an introduction to various environmental stressors and their causes, empower visitors to counteract them with practical tips on eco-friendly living, and provide links to environmental Web sites and news publications, green businesses, training institutions, and avenues for political involvement. The site hasn't changed much since its creation in 1997, but I periodically check the links for accuracy.

New School University
In 1998, I was considering a career change to teaching English as a Second Language, for which I took several courses at New School University in Manhattan. Although it was a positive experience, my current work in Web design, which is also very enjoyable, led me in a different direction.
